10 teams search for 10 hours in Alexis Murphy case

NELSON COUNTY, VA -

Ten teams searched for ten hours in Alexis Murphy case Sunday.

Nelson County investigator Billy Mays says several teamswere searching for anything connected to the teen's disappearance. Mays tells WSLS several of the teams weresearching places they have previously searched, but they wanted to make sure they didn't missanything.

The Nelson County teen has been missing since Saturday, August 3, when she was reportedly on her way to Lynchburg. The last place she was seen is a Liberty gas station in Lovingston.
